The totally adorable and super cool Ashlee Simpson has just joined the ranks of celebrity fashion designers. Ashlee’s new clothing line debuted yesterday at Wet Seal stores, and completely reflects Ashlee’s style and spunk.

Of course, with the designs being offered at Wet Seal, you know the price will be right, too.

Shop for Ashlee’s threads online or in-store and pick up a copy of her brand new CD for only $10.50 while you’re at it.

Honeslty, I don’t really see anything great about her line.

I agree that she is one of the best-dressers out there, but her line at Wet Seal dooesn’t show that side of her. It looks like she was trying too hard to fit into “the look” that Wet Seal usually is about. (Which would be subtle pieces, loud colors.)

I wish this would have shown her lady-like, classy, but still crazy style she is rockin’ now.

Alright, so honestly I don’t see much all that great about this line.

Don’t get me wrong I do think that Ashlee is one of the best-dressed girls around, it’s just nothing in her line really mkes me think “Oh, that’s great. I’ve never seen that before.” (And that’s what makes me buy clothing) I think her line is trying too hard to fit into the whole Wet Seal act. (Which would be subtle pieces, loud colors)

I just wish we would have seen some of her classy, lady-like, but still crazy style she’s been rocking lately.

    Hey RayRay,

You’ll notice I specifically did not include the yellow one-shouldered tee that features Ash’s screen-printed face. Gack! And I totally agree with you, if Ashlee could have stuck to her more sophisticated personal style, her line would’ve turned out great. It’s not bad, but it could have been so much better.

Thanks for your view. I appreciate your comments! =)
