Avril Lavigne to Launch Fashion Line for Kohl’s

Joining the ranks of celebs peddling their own fashion lines, funky chick Avril Lavigne has announced that she’s teaming up with Kohl’s department stores to launch styles which she calls “Rock Glam: fun, colorful, young and edgy.” Sounds cool, Av.

The line will be called Abbey Dawn, which also happens to be the nickname her dad gave her. Awwww. The pieces, said to range in price from $24 to $48, will be available in Kohl’s stores nationwide in July.

Look for hoodies, jeans and tees in bright colors as well as the ever-popular skull and zebra patterns.

Says Avril, “Everything is fit to be sexy and flattering.”

The coolest part? This line is not something Avril just attached her name to before pressing on. Nope, she actually had a hand in everything from selecting the fabrics to planning the designs. Way to show your strong chick self, Av. We love it! And we can’t wait til the goods hit the racks, either. =D

I’ll keep you guys posted if I hear any more, but for now, watch for Avril to be wearing her threads during her upcoming Best Damn Tour, which kicks off this month.
