Regarding Contests at TSL

Hey guys!

Just a quick note to remind you all that it is a pleasure for me to host contests for you here at Teen Style Lounge. However, sometimes the circumstances surrounding contests can be tricky and out of my control.

For example, the recent Clean and Clear In-Shower facial contest. I asked the winners to please email me their addresses. Less than ten of the winners did. While I waited for some others to write in, the Clean & Clear rep that I was working with on the contest transferred to another company, and now someone new will have to handle it.

So, while I’m probably telling you all more than you need to know, I just want you to realize that I am not holding your prizes hostage, nor do I even have them in my possession. Prizes generally come straight from the company sponsoring the contest, and that sometimes means a slight wait in receiving the gifts.

While I know it’s hard to be patient while you’re awaiting something you’re dying to get your hands on, remember that the prize is a PRIZE, that it’s a GIFT and it’s something that I and another company are GIVING you, so please try to hang tight and be accepting of any delays. It is our goal to get these gifts out to you in hopes that you’ll love them. Plus, it’s just fun to give stuff away. ;P

So thanks to all of you who have entered. While I get my Clean & Clear contact person up to speed, I am also delaying the American Mall contest so there isn’t any further confusion. Watch for that to be reinstated soon, but not until the facial contest is settled. (P.S. If you were an In-Shower Facial winner and you haven’t emailed me your address yet, please do so ASAP. I would assume that anyone who wanted their winnings would be proactive in making contact, so I’ll expect to hear from you soon. Thanks.) :)
