Steal this Oscar Look for Prom: Miley Cyrus

Hey guys! Did you watch the Oscars last night? What fun to see all those gorgeous dresses strutting down the Red Carpet. Of course, many of these looks are a tad too glam for Prom, but Miley Cyrus struck just the right combo: Sassy red, sophisticated elegance, subdued glamour. She looks great. Take a look:

Doesn’t she rock? Aside from her dress, her makeup is awesome. Notice that lots of the ladies who chose red dresses stuck to a lighter, more neutral lip instead of going with a bright red. That, my friends, is a very wise choice. If you’re wearing a bold-colored dress, play up your eyes (which Miley did very well here) and keep your lips soft and natural.

Also notice Miley’s earrings. Because her dress is elegant and simple, she did right by wearing some very Notice-Me earrings. Her hairstyle completes the look by not competing with her dress or earrings for attention.

This is the perfect look to emulate for Prom. If red’s not your color, choose a different one, but follow the same rules.
